The ceiling-mounted patient lift is a manual lift designed to assist the transfer of patients and people with disabilities who have difficulty moving independently due to illness or physical impairment. The system operates by installing a motor unit on ceiling-mounted rails, allowing vertical or multi-directional movement depending on the model. Users are safely transferred using a sling, providing both safety and convenience. In addition to basic transfers between a bed and a wheelchair, the system enables movement to toilets and other necessary spaces along the installed rail system. The ceiling lift is currently being installed in various domestic institutions and disability support centers.
