Humeral head component for total shoulder arthroplasty prosthesis systems. Provides anatomical restoration and restores proper rotator cuff mechanics.

Heads of radial head prosthesis • available in 9 sizes (3 diameters: 20, 22, 24 mm and 3 heights: 10, 12, 14 mm) • convex spherical surface enables cooperation with the surface of radial notch of ulna • concave spherical surface cooperates with the surface of humerus capitulum • the socket of ball joint provides steady fixation of the stem (click!), which allows the intraoperative assembly of the prosthesis Stems of radial head prosthesis • available in 2 variants depending on the injury scope/ radial head resection • for use with bone cement • transverse grooves in the intramedullary part stabilize the stem in the cement coat • flattening in the intramedullary section prevent rotation • surface finishing, which protect the cement coat from damaging Indications for the radial head prosthesis: • dislocation of the elbow joint together with radial head fracture (Type IV) • injury of medial or lateral collateral ligament • Monteggia type injury with the olecranon and radial head fracture • fracture of the major part of coronoid process (Types II and III) • coexisting injury of radioulnar joint (Type Essex-Lopresti) or injury of the interosseous membrane • complex injury and instability – as a combination of the above The benefits: • stabilization of the elbow joint • bipolarity enables rotational movements and radial head tilting to the sides in a range of 30° (prosthesis self-centering on capitulum of the humerus) • prosthesis modularity allows to select the proper size of head and stem, depending on the size of trauma / radial head resection, indications and patient’s anatomy
